No circumstance is automatically black or white. Most circumstances have a tenancy towards one or the other but in all cases the blackness of whiteness depends on the reactions and choices of the individuals experiencing them. The Nephites were afflicted by the kids off men from war but they turned to building the church and seeking refuge in their faith and it was a good thing for them. Everyone expected Dad’s death to be difficult for me but it was amazingly uplifting because of the siblings from both families pulling together and firing new bonds.
Many times the Nephites were prospered in peace and it led to price and wickedness.
