What do I want Laura to do?

I would like Laura to observe Noelle (and Lisi when she’s here) in the way she reinforces me to the children. She could equally observe how I support and don’t interfere with what Noelle does with the kids. I think Noelle is a great target for observation because her natural inclinations are decidedly different than mine and much more in line with Laura’s. I have no doubt that she disapproves of my time and style much of the time but you’d never know it by her demeanor toward me – especially in the heat of the moment or when the children are present.
