Perfectionism is driven by fear of failure or of the opinions of others. Consecration is driven by desire to do the best we are able to even with our weaknesses and limitations.

He invited the missionaries to call them any evening to share experiences they’d had that day where they saw the hand of the Lord.
Stories that might sound writers when presented in some ways (Joseph Smith looking at the seer stone in his hat) can seem reasonable with some context but what if truly important is whether or hats have personally been touched by the Spirit testifying to our soul.
There are always two voices: one from the great and spacious building (the volume from there is going up) and one from the spirit (which favors a gentle, personal witness).

We have been given 7 days a week – are we willing to give one to the Lord? (This is a preparatory law to the one where we devote all 7 to advancing His work.)
The key to making the sabbath a delight is to plan.
