“The fullness of mind intent”

When Nephi said that he desires the space on the plates to write the things of God and persuade men to come to Christ he was specifically taking about the small plates. When he started the large plates his intent was to keep a record and he undoubtedly included more details on the book of Lehi (which was lost) than he did in the small plates.
