The bandits of Sebus

I never considered before that the Lamanites who scattered the flocks at the waters of Sebus were Lamoni’s own subjects and not Lamanites from another land. I wonder if any of them were converted seeing as basically ask of Lamoni’s people were.  Perhaps seeing that the brother of their leader died while trying to kill an unconscious Ammon convinced them that Ammon was on God’s side.
