Did Alma speak first to Helaman because he was the oldest or did he do so because unlike Shiblon and Corianton, Helaman hadn’t been with Alma as a missionary to the Zoramites so Alma wanted to make sure that he heard the message (having missed that experience).
Of course, is possible that Alma (or Mormon) recorded his word to Helaman first but didn’t actually deliver them first.
