Alma 26 is speaking of Russia

Brook wrote in a recent email that she recently read Alma 26 and saw references to Russia throughout. I decided that since I was in that vicinity i would review it. I want thinking to have it as my scripture study but I wanted see if I could see what she might be referring to (rather than go into specifics she just suggested that people review the chapter for themselves). I can’t be certain that what I saw was what she was referring to but I can see the connection between the Lamanites and modern Russians being in the darkest abyss and almost devoid of spiritual light being brought through missionary efforts into the marvelous light of the gospel.
