Success before the storms

I never realized before that in the year preceding the sign of Jesus’s death Nephi began to have measurable success in bringing people to repent and be converted. Hopefully many of those relatively fresh converts were saved when the destruction hit. Whether they were or not, that success to the truth that as society is shaken by wickedness there are always some people who react by reaching for righteousness.
