In the millennium we are told that there will be two capitols, a political capitol and a religious capitol. One is Jerusalem and the other the new Jerusalem. It seems both clear and logical that Jerusalem will be the political capitol and New Jerusalem the spiritual capitol and Jesus seemed to say to the Nephites that He would primarily reside in the spiritual capitol.
