The writings of the brother of Jared and the seer stones were to be hid from the world but obviously Ether had them as did other record keepers before him. Mosiah then had them as well. It seems that Mosiah had set stones before he had the record of Ether so it is hard to imagine that they were the same stones. Moroni had both the record and the stones – I’m sure the same stones that Mosiah had. Joseph Smith received the same stones that Moroni had and later he delivered them back into the care of Moroni. Hopefully they are preserved in heaven for the inspection of Chris people like me who would be in awe to handle them even after receiving immortality.
