Brass tacks

On day 14 of our new world (the one that started with Laura acting on the conclusion that she was holding the family back) finally arrived at some concrete plans to deal with a significant portion of the care and support needs that we have identified to preserve Laura’s long-term help and well-being. I have quite a few phone calls to make to actually get things working but Laura and I were able to meet and discuss the needs and the results of our individual brainstorming to come to some solid conclusions as well as have substantial ideas to explore on the main gap that hasn’t been addressed yet – care for Ezra and Emma throughout the school day. With the right support from a wide variety of people we can reduce the needs in the morning and afternoon to very manageable levels. Then we are considering how best to care for the two who have no school, including the possibility of preschool (especially for Ezra).
