With an empty calendar the afternoon today was the perfect day for Laura’s ring to be finished getting engraved. I drove down to pick it up after I got home from work. It was beautiful to finally see those scriptures imprinted on this symbol of our union. After I gave Laura the ring I got home to discover that today was the cub scout Blue and Gold banquet and I was half an hour late for it. Isaac and Mariah had gone over alone. I drove over quickly and took Emma with me. We still got dinner and saw most of the awards. We were late but it was still good to be there.
