So when Laura finally got to the eye doctor (who was in the office today when she came even though normally he doesn’t work on Wednesday – small miracle) she learned that she had torn off her cornea (out at least 25% of it). They put ointment on it to prevent infection and a special contact to protect it from irritation but amazingly they said that such an injury should heal itself within a couple of days.
Aside from my discovery that nobody seems to have come in to the shop today so nobody looked at the car, the family generally had a good day. We got the chance laundry mostly folded and put away finally and I fully organized the duty laundry as well before finishing the stages before going to bed tonight. Hopefully that will give us a good start tomorrow.
