I told the kids today that obedience was our focus. I will be noting any infractions each day and reporting on it so they can see how often they are disobedient. From there we can hopefully improve. I also learned that some of the boys (especially Enoch and Ezra) have been so disruptive in primary (to the point that some other kids are afraid to go to class with them) that I will soon be called to teach those two boys only. With a second teacher we will literally have a 1:1 ratio. Hopefully such focus will allow me to teach discipline and the rest of the gospel.
We are commanded to ask. To never make requests is as proud as only asking is selfish.
Be specific in prayer. There is less power in generalities.
Talk in advance about what we need to pray about now.
I should set the example for prayer as a family.
