I was really tired when I wrote in my journal last night to the point that I forgot to record that Savannah was pulled out of class yesterday to be interviewed by a DCFS caseworker. She was angry that they are digging around again but apparently someone mentioned that Isaac has pulled knives on other members of the family so they really do have to look into that. Alex, the caseworker, told Savannah that all (or most) of the other siblings would be interviewed on a Friday. It didn’t happen today but as I think about it, I suspect those other interviews will take place at the house instead of the school.
I wrote to Alex this morning to warn her that the kids had previously been traumatized by their interviews with DCFS caseworkers and we likely to be hostile as she had already observed with Savannah. Asked her to be sensitive to that and invited her to call me. Nataly, I think we in for another adventure. I just hope it’s a tame one.
