I can’t say that we had a nanny or a boatload of money fall in our laps but at least there was some activity towards interviewing a nanny. I feel like Laura will be more open than I had expected to some alternatives to paying strangers 8 hours a day all summer.
I also feel like she is in a better place than she has as been previously accept without work but I also feel confident that finding other ways to achieve financial security besides her working are likely worse for our overall situation and her mental stability than having her start working at something she loves with the scheduling flexibility that she needs. I still think it best for her to pursue that course sooner rather than later.
