Last night Laura went walking with Kenzie Airmet. By midnight, when she didn’t call or let me know that she was home I decided to go see if she was home yet. I got there just as she texted to apologize for leaving her phone behind. We talked for a minute and she was very excited to see me then we decided on the spur of the moment for me to stay overnight. It was a nice end to that day.
I got up this morning and headed straight home before any of the kids were awake. Thankfully, I was home before Savannah needed me to drive her to the practice AP exam. Once I got home from dropping Savannah off, I set up a new cage for the bunnies so that they could eat the grass in our side yard. They seem to really like the expanded space with access to the overhang under the house on the east side.
We were able to get to all the soccer games today and to do our shopping and finish up our laundry without working too hard. Tonight I went back over to Laura’s and we talked about our goals for the kids and began talking about how we wanted to spend the summer too advanced those goals.
