It occurred to me tonight that one reason Korihor was so bold while he was bound and brought before the chief priests of various lands was that he knew he was legally protected in all that he had taught – he knew that the law could have no hold on him and he fully expected the law to be upheld. Believers often have no such assurance when they are falsely accused because of their beliefs.
