Last thing last night I had to stay up and monitor the fallout from some maintenance on or days storage system at work. Shortly after I went to bed from that I got a call that I needed to test or seated because they had had an event. I was up until 3 because QPTM had issues. I almost drove into work to fix them because Citrix was also having issues. Thankfully I was able to reboot the server remotely to solve the problem. I was them woken at 7 by an alert about what turned out to be two stuck jobs from yesterday’s events. I went to church with less than 4 hours sleep to my name.
After church I told the girls to take over and leave me to rest until at least 2. I’m grateful that the house ran smoothly upstairs while I slept and everyone got to do what they wanted (like Savannah going to a scripture reading, Care center singing, and driving). I still had to do 2 hours of dishes and laundry area putting the kids to bed but considering the on call hit I’m pleased with the results.
