Which is better?

After listening to Samuel, one might legitimately wonder whether it is better to be a Nephite with more light but higher expectations or to be a Lamanite with less light but more leniency.

I think the answer had to be Nephite because those Lamanites who convert are eventually numbered among the Nephites anyway.
