Doing too much

I had talked about working on Alyssa’s room today but instead I fixed the rabbit pen, laid carpet in the downstairs hallway, put up the new Roman shades that arrived today, and got all the kids to and from school at their appointed times. At the same time, Laura was going to her therapist and helping Savannah with callbacks plus preparing Alyssa, Mariah, and Isaac for their auditions tomorrow. By the time we got to dinner it was clear that both of us had passed Father than we really had the stamina to push. I’m happy with what was accomplished but we’ll see fallout too.
