When the Aaronic priesthood was given to Joseph and Oliver they were told it would never be taken from the earth until the sons of Levi were to again offer an offering in righteousness. I never before connected that to the words of Malachi where he says that the Lord would sit as a refiner of silver and purify the sons of Levi as silver so that they might again offer an offering in righteousness.
