Laura and I had the task of asking Mariah if she had taken money from a friend. Money had gone missing the day that her friend had shown it to her and Tamra Adamson had the uncomfortable task of telling Laura about it. We are hoping that they find the money because we don’t believe that Mariah took it – she said she didn’t – but we were impressed with how willingly she fielded the question without complaining that we would ask.
After that we had the pleasant task of answering some complex doctrinal questions from Savannah. It is gratifying that she is thinking about such things and willing to bring the questions to us. It is also nice to know that these are topics that come up in conversation with her friends (Emily Smith in this case) – that is an indication of the quality of her friends.
