After midnight last night, while I was mostly asleep Laura shared many more details of what Tamra had told her about the missing money. Even in my semiconsciousness I had to conclude that the odds of Mariah being guilty were much higher than I had known. Today Laura looked in Mariah’s room and quickly located the money. When we talked to Mariah about it in the evening she offered exactly the excuses we had anticipated.
More and more I feel like a failure as I find new instances of my kids failing spectacularly in things that should be quite basic for their respective ages.
