I finally made some progress on the bedroom today. I determined that I didn’t need to move the other boxes to fit an extra layer of sheetrock so I abandoned the idea of cutting it and replacing the sheetrock. Laura asked that we replace the plugs in the process so I bought new outlets and got dozens of point samples to figure out our shade of green for the room. I also managed to get the sheetrock up on the wall with the most writing. Laura decided this morning to do that wall (and later the one next to it with sheetrock 6 feet tall.
I think it will all look good once we finish.
