Enoch has been saying for months in the most adamant terms that he will not get baptized. I’ve tried talking to him an by it and encouraging him but he remains steadfast – until tonight. I finally learned why he was refusing (he doesn’t like people looking at him and doesn’t want to go up on the stand to be introduced at the baptism. I explained that we could request that they not call him up and suddenly he is willing to start inviting people and choosing witnesses. I’m so excited to know what his concern was and to work through it.
