In another time of history Moroni might not have been a military man. His desire was to do good. At this time in Nephite history, the good that needed doing was inspired military leadership and thus Moroni applied his talents to meet that need. Other men like Moroni did other things and in all ages where men like Moroni live they apply themselves to that which needs doing.
