The laconic Moroni

It struck me how little Moroni write off his own words. He finished the book of Mormon with the words his father had instructed him to write. He wrote the book of Ether to capture the record of Ether, not his own words (although he included a few of those too). In the book of Moroni he had a short introductory chapter then outlined the workings of the church. He followed with a sermon and to letters from his father. He only wrote one full doctrinal chapter of his own words, and that was his final testimony.
