Biking family

Yesterday after dinner Noah wanted to try riding his bike without training wheels. First try he took right off and ride down the street. I spent the rest of the evening running after him to help him get started after he stopped. He loved it but we decided to put the training wheels back on for riding to school. I made him promise to practice riding every night until he no longer needed training wheels.

Tonight he kept that promise. I took the training wheels off again and when I was ready to hold the bike so he could get started he misunderstood and too of on his own – a perfect launch followed by a flawless stop. He then started again without any assistance. He’ll never see training wheels again. I also finally got the tool to pull my crankshaft of and replace the stripped out arm. Ten minutes work got my bike functional again so that we now have bikes for everyone except Mariah and Alyssa. We’ll get them bikes soon.
