I wonder who made up the dissenters among the people of king Noah. Had any of them heard Alma or Abinadi preach but not followed Alma? Were they people like Limhi who knew of the iniquity but had reasons to not rebel against the king?
Gideon sought to kill Noah, but what is the proper means of dissenting against wicked leaders? I’m sure there isn’t one universal answer to that but it is worth considering since we have the possibility of facing such a situation in our day.
