There is a gap between what is morally right and what is criminally wrong. Within this gap are things which are morally incorrect but do not constitutes crimes. This is where man is expected to exercise agency. Individually we choose what we will believe morally/spiritually and collectively we choose what we will enforce legally. Satan used this gap when he gains the hearts of people to reverse the field – making moral truth illegal if possible and arguing that criminal acts are no crime.
