When the poor and despised Zoramites came to Alma looking for encouragement and answers his response was “lucky you that your poverty has humbled you. You are in the perfect position to learn.”
I also notice his reference to Korihor – speaking of people who demand a sign before they will believe. Seeing as Korihor died among the Zoramites I assume some of them at least were aware of the story.
