When the Lord speaks of how Nephi had proceed himself faithful we should consider what we know.
- Nephi served as a righteous Chief Judge until the people could not be governed righteously.
- He then gave up the rental authority to decor his time to preaching repentance.
- He not only taught among the Nephites but among the Lamanites as well.
- When he had preached in the South he then preached in the North until they utterly rejected him.
- When he returned home having been utterly rejected his first thought was to wish and pray for the people to repent.
- When that attracted a generally hostile crowd he pressed to them rather than feel that doing so would be casting pearls before swine.
- When they tried to use his prophecies as a reason to condemn him he continued to invite them to repent.
- Nephi truly served with unwearyingness and without regard for his temporal safety.
