A vision for Moroni

Moroni must have been given a vision of at least the final days of the Jaredites because after the destruction that changed the face of the land at the death of Christ no description could have been sufficiently accurate to guarantee that Moroni could know that the hill Ramah was the same hill where Mormon had hidden the sacred records. Only a vision could help Moroni to know that with certainty.
