Limhi had the choice to exact vengeance against the king of the Lamanites or to learn from him. He chose to find out from the king why they had attacked his people. In doing so he demonstrated his humanity. When he heard the reasons for their attack he promised to take care of the problem. In that he demonstrated his honor.
