Ask … in the name of Christ

When there are disputations and we do not already have the answer we can ask in the name of Christ with full expectations of receiving an answer.

Reading this admonition to take the name of Christ in light of the prophetic direction to use the correct name of the church of Jesus Christ I am beginning to see how sloppy it was to embrace the name Mormon, excusing ourselves because the official name is the Church of Jesus Christ, simply because it is popular and convenient to embrace the monicker of Mormon. I’m not saying that anyone was trying to be wicked, just that the Heavenly priority was always plain to see even while we as an organization didn’t worry about “the details.”
