It is regret necessary that someone be beyond the influence of Satan if they are to survive for thousands of years in mortality and continue to do good. It is our goal as much as possible to remove ourselves from the influence of Satan during our lifetimes. (I don’t mean to suggest that we can achieve what was given to them but we can grow until sin is abhorrent to us.)
