Around noon today Laura called me to say that she was at the school and that Emma had fallen on the playground and split her lip. The end result was a trip to Primary Children’s to get stitches on her lip. Laura didn’t want to risk leaving a scar on such a prominent place due to substandard stitching.
Emma was brave and now she has 9 stitches on her lip for the next 5 days and she can only eat study things like ice cream, mashed potatoes, yogurt, and applesauce – sounds like a dream come true for many kids.
