Tools that can help with our study of Book of Mormon:
- Prayer
- New Book of Mormon videos
- Commentaries
“Be prayerful, be patient, & be persistent.”
I would like to start our discussions each week with a Book of Mormon video and then use that to focus our study and discussion.
What can we do to encourage family members to share what they are learning?
In your own study, study with the intent to share. Teach children to do the same.
Consider the questions in Come Follow Me as you study.
Get together regularly for scriptural/spiritual discussion.
Share in small groups (2 or 3 people present rather than larger groups)
Look for analogies to explain what you are learning – those lend themselves to sharing and help us to connect the scriptures with our actual lives.
Brother Terry: “Sometimes the spiritual market is up and other times it is down but if you keep investing consistently (in scripture study) you will reap the rewards.”
(Not sure the name of this brother):“Be like Zacceus, get in the path of the Savior and climb a tree and wait for Him to come.”
