I wish I could remember who said these things but the sentiments ring true to me.
“Whether the Lord seeks to soften our hearts through trials or through blessings it is up to us to use our agency in order to soften our hearts.”
“I know there have been days when the Spirit has told me, don’t go to the temple today, go help your mom (or ‘go visit this friend’) instead.”
