Called to teach a hardened people

The sons of Mosiah were called to preach to a people who were hardened and oppositional to them and their doctrine. I feel the possibility that I am called to preach political philosophy among the people of my own nation to combat extremism and extol robust political discourse in search of common ground.

I need to figure out if this is truly something u am called to do or if it is just something I wish I could do.
