Alma demonstrates the importance of hearing testimony of Christ as he beats that testimony to both of his faithful sons. The fact that they were already faithful was no reason to stop repeating his testimony of Christ. He also counseled Shiblon to continue in testifying of Christ to the people as he had already been doing.
