What baby steps might take you closer to you desired outcome and/or make your desired outcome clearer?
- Stop (weeds to pull)
- Tuning out/escaping the present (usually through games, media, news)
- Start (seeds to plant)
- Blocking out the day – fresh start every 3 hours
- Keep (plants to water)
- Open communication with Laura regarding schedule and areas of focus
- Individual chore checks each morning
- Weekly review of schedule and expectations
- Alter (plants to prune or trim)
- Count Quarters more regularly
How can I take maximum advantage of this moment to achieve both outcomes (strong home, fulfilling work)?
How do we make sure that we maintain accountability with our next steps? How do we avoid complacency?
How do we maintain role clarity? Does everyone understand what space is theirs to create within?
What does success look like?
Define how we measure success on any given task. (Schedules, frequencies, deadlines) Get it outside your head in a form that can be updated as needed.
Have a simple agenda for huddles. (Starting with the positives would build people up.) Let people report on their own tasks. ASSUME GOOD INTENT!!!
