The more I read the scriptures the more I feel that the best indicator of our current standing relative to the judgement day is how we feel about meeting God. If we are ignorant and thus not accountable we would likely feel ambivalent out else curious – it would be a thought we hadn’t really considered before. If we long to be in His presence that is probably a more accurate indicator of our repentant heart than any fully it insist we might feel because of our sins. If we are fearful or defiant that clearly indicates adv unrepentant heart to one degree or another.
