I’m confident that Ammon recognized that Lamoni was having an experience constable to what soon had seen his friend Alma go through at his conversion. That would explain why he had an idea if what to expect and would have been one source of his faith that Lamoni would rise again. On the other hand, what could be the source of faith for Lamoni’s wife to believe the words of Ammon although she seemed not to have any firsthand knowledge of him previously?
