Eventually the Nephites recognized that their wickedness had made them week like the Lamanites and that they had lost any protection from the Lord. I look at the events this year and it prices the same thing about the United States. We are no better than any other country and in many ways worse than many countries. The question remains as to whether we will collectively accept that fact and act accordingly. We can still be a great nation but not if we bury or heads and insist that we haven’t lost anything.
Our president campaigned to “make America great again” and had made it worse. Now he wants to “keep America great.” He should have used his campaign slogans in the opposite order.
