Be ye therefore perfect

I never before connected the command (or invitation) to be perfect with the new law that Christ introduced. Tonight it made perfect sense to me as “love your friends” becomes “love your enemies” and “don’t commit adultery” becomes “don’t look upon a woman to lust after her.”
