The life of Shule is very interesting. Not only did he take up the sword to redeem the kingdom from his brother but he turned it over to his father, the rightful king. Later when he had become the rightful ruler he didn’t hold a grudge against the brother that had usurped the kingdom from his father. It would have been easy to be distrustful of one who had already overthrown the kingdom earlier. Shule later endured his own captivity and then brought his people to repentance by protecting the prophets that came among them. He was clearly a man blessed with both strength and wisdom beyond that of the average man.
