Mormon teaches that the way to judge between good and evil is completely clear cut. He suggests these definitions:
- Good = “every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ”
- Evil = “whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God”
The thing I would like to consider is whether there is anything which is might appear good in some context but evil in another. Initially I can’t think of anything that would suggest a gray area.
