Meekness is critical

Faith and how are basin for those who are not meek and lowly in heart. No matter the object of faith or the sincerity of intent, those who are not meek and lowly in heart will not “submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.” Also without such meekness of heart his love for his fellow men will be hampered or limited.

I realized as I read this that while I am generally patient and not demanding I have not yet become meek. I do more complaining about the things that the Lord has seen fit to inflict upon me than would qualify for the label of meek. I’ll see if I can work on that lowliness of heart.
